About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships across Ira Green's retail and government channels. This role develops strategic sales plans, oversees key accounts, and collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed individual and team goals.
  • Establish sales objectives, quotas, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Support the team in closing high-value or complex deals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target industries.
  • Expand the company's customer base and geographic reach.
  • Work closely with production and supply chain teams to align sales commitments with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and demand planning.
  • Provide customer feedback to support product development and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs.
  • Prepare and present regular sales performance reports, forecasts, and KPI updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage sales budgets and expenses effectively.
