Sales Manager JOB SUMMARY: Works with Director of Sales, Rope & Assemblies Division, to develop and meet key sales goals. This role involves coordinating all sales activities across multiple product lines and industries, providing accurate, fact-based information for active and potential markets, and implementing sales strategies to meet corporate objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience with Sales for manufacturing, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar operations a plus.
  • Maintains a valid Driver's License and Passport.
  • General office and computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Organizational skills necessary to follow through on requests for information and ability to select an appropriate response.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five+ years of experience in sales.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Sales for manufacturing, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar operations a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hiring, coordinating, mentoring, training, and evaluating Sales personnel.
  • Responsible for reviewing Key-Performance Metrics as set in conjunction with Director of Sales and implementing the structure and processes to achieve these goals.
  • Communicates clearly and directly with employees concerning performance expectations, productivity, and accountability. Coordinates activities to ensure adherence to all AS/ISO policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, problem solving, and change management skills.
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Performs routine duties where judgment is required when communicating with customers, sales representatives, and intercompany personnel.
  • Responsible for maintaining good customer relations.
  • Contacts with other personnel including Engineering, Accounting, Manufacturing, Shipping, and Receiving.
  • Some travel is required, including international travel.
