About The Position

As a Sales Manager at Sunward, your responsibility is to lead and manage a team of Sales Consultants to achieve sales targets, KPIs and drive revenue growth, as well as contribute as a sales producer. Your role involves overseeing the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and building strong customer relationships.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a comparable sales leadership role
  • Strong sales acumen and a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales reporting tools
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
  • Must be an expert with respect to pricing levels, competition, and industry standards/requirements.
  • Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining customers.
  • Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided.
  • Answers questions from customers and manages complaints

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Consultants, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Set performance expectations, establish sales goals, create sales development plans, and regularly evaluate team members’ performance.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, provide constructive feedback, and offer coaching and training to improve sales skills and knowledge.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Sales Process Management Oversee the entire inside sales process, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness at each stage.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to track team and individual performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service and support.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Sales Reporting and Analytics Generate regular sales reports and performance dashboards, providing insights into sales activities, results, and trends.
  • Analyze sales data, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations to improve sales performance and processes.
  • Present sales forecasts, progress, and performance updates to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the sales team's skills and knowledge.
  • Implement and leverage sales technology and tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and optimize sales operations.
