The Sales Manager role involves managing the annual and long-term development and delivery of financial results for the Sales Office, achieving objectives for profit, volume, margins, business mix, and market share across all business streams. The position also entails leadership for various functions including customer and district area sales management, new customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, price management, marketing, maximizing account and market penetration, customer retention, and the hiring, onboarding, training, quota setting, forecasting, and system usage for new sales associates. The manager will assemble account teams and interact with Account Managers with diverse business development needs, customer focus, experience, sales cycles, and product portfolios. Additionally, the role requires ensuring sales office compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational integrity, and supporting human capital strategies like employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and diversity and inclusion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in commercial or industrial sales
  • Experience and proven track record in guiding and successfully leading a project to successful completion
  • Valid Driver License in State for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years
