About The Position

This position is responsible for leading a subset of the AUFC advisor team in growing the business and achieving both top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability. This role is pivotal in recruiting and managing a high-performing team of financial advisors, driving strategic sales initiatives, and fostering collaboration across Atlantic Union Bank business lines to deliver integrated solutions to clients. The position entails a variety of special projects and works with sensitive and confidential data. Work is done under limited supervision and in compliance with established risk management policies, procedures and regulations.

Requirements

  • Six years of related sales and financial advising experience
  • NIPR State of Virgina life insurance and annuities licenses
  • FINRA registrations Series 7, Series 66 (or 63/65)
  • Extensive knowledge of financial products, advisory services, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in brokerage or wealth sales leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing high-performing teams.
  • Develops and executes strategic plans to align with organizational goals.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related degree
  • FINRA registrations Series 24 (or 9/10)
  • Experience working for or partnering with Raymond James

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to ensure consistent growth and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Partner with Consumer banking, Business banking, Mortgage, and other departments to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with other business lines to deliver holistic financial solutions to clients.
  • Champion communication and coordination across teams to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support advisors in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Promote a consultative sales approach focused on planning and long-term client success.
