The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving assigned catering/banquet goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel(s) served. This role includes soliciting and securing new accounts, as well as servicing clients and groups where applicable. The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for one or more properties. The focus of catering sales may vary based on the respective property, such as Social, Corporate, Business, or SMERF. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.
