The Sales Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the QXO sales team, driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring profitability. This position requires strategic leadership, hands-on collaboration, and strong market awareness. QXO is the fastest growing publicly traded distributor of building products in North America. The company is executing its strategy to become the tech-enabled leader in the $800 billion building products distribution industry and generate outsized value for its shareholders. QXO expects to achieve its target of $50 billion in annual revenues within the next decade through accretive acquisitions and organic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) the DLD Sales team
  • Achieve revenue growth and meet/exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Identify emerging markets, industry trends, and competitive shifts
  • Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives
  • Present accurate and timely sales funnel updates to leadership
  • Report sales performance weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Identify and develop key accounts; participate in account-level sales meetings
  • Increase profit margins while expanding market share
  • Lead weekly sales meetings
  • Assign and balance new accounts across the sales team
  • Collaborate with Sales Representatives on quoting and proposal development
  • Manage sales accounts receivable to meet company goals
  • Partner with operations to ensure delivery efficiency and order accuracy
