Requirements

  • 2+ years of automotive sales management experience required; Subaru and used car experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of automotive sales processes, inventory management, and customer retention strategies.
  • Experience with using DriveCentric and CDK.
  • Ability to analyze sales metrics and adjust strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to exceed goals in volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including customer interactions, deal structuring, desking, and finance approvals
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout every step of the sales process
  • Track, analyze, and act on sales performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain strong knowledge of vehicle inventory, pricing strategies, and manufacturer incentive programs
  • Stay current on industry trends and uphold Subaru brand standards
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
