This role is ideal for a leader who understands both retail automotive sales and the unique demands of fleet, commercial, and business-to-business clients . If you know how to build relationships, lead people, structure deals, and drive volume without sacrificing culture , we want to talk to you. The Sales Manager will oversee daily sales operations while leading and expanding our fleet and commercial business . This role requires hands-on leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to coach a sales team while directly supporting key fleet accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager in an automotive dealership
  • Strong fleet/commercial sales background (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams
  • Excellent deal-structuring and negotiation skills
  • High level of professionalism with business and government clients
  • Strong understanding of CRM, desking tools, and sales reporting
  • Results-driven, organized, and accountable leadership style

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales department with a strong emphasis on fleet and commercial sales
  • Grow and maintain relationships with local businesses, municipalities, and commercial customers
  • Structure and desk deals for both retail and fleet transactions
  • Coach, train, and hold sales staff accountable to performance standards
  • Drive new and used vehicle volume while protecting gross
  • Collaborate with F&I, service, and parts to support long-term fleet relationships
  • Maintain compliance with OEM, lender, and regulatory requirements
  • Track performance metrics and adjust strategy to meet monthly and annual goals
  • Support inventory strategy, pricing, and market competitiveness
