About The Position

AECO is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to accelerate bookings growth, strengthen market presence, and support the development of our sales team. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic planning, sales execution, and sales enablement. The Sales Manager will oversee and coach the sales team, ensure disciplined sales processes, partner with marketing on lead generation and messaging, and identify opportunities in new markets.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of driving bookings growth in a technical B2B manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Infor experience a plus) and sales reporting tools.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate customer needs into value-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to balance hands-on sales execution with strategic planning.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in industrial equipment, fabrication, machining, or related industries.
  • Experience leading a small sales team or managing direct reports.
  • Demonstrated success in refining or implementing CRM processes and sales tools.

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall bookings growth by managing the commercial business to retain customers, increase share of wallet, and generate new business.
  • Coach, mentor, and support the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed bookings targets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing customer relationships.
  • Align marketing initiatives with strategic priorities to maximize lead generation and market impact.
  • Maintain and optimize the Infor CRM system to ensure pipeline visibility, accurate forecasting, and accountability.
  • Implement and oversee sales tools, metrics, and reporting to track performance and support growth initiatives.
  • Ensure disciplined adherence to sales processes and best practices across the team.
  • Collaborate with leadership and marketing to refine and communicate the company’s value proposition.
  • Identify target markets, ideal customer profiles, and emerging opportunities to guide sales and marketing efforts.
  • Provide market and customer insights to inform product positioning and business development strategies.
  • Develop and retain high-performing sales talent.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and leadership to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
  • Contribute to sales training, collateral development, and go-to-market campaigns.
