Requirements

  • 3+ years of Loan Officer experience
  • MLO License required
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and company-specific software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 1+ years of experience managing a team

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains successful relationships with business referral sources, including existing and prospective leads to achieve production/sales goals as established by direct manager and the company
  • Grows the branch through development of marketing initiatives for all loan officers and retains and expands the company’s base of customers
  • Develops loan officers through training in selling techniques, marketing ideas, lead generation, and closing mortgages
  • Meets with borrowers to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process
  • Analyzes borrowers’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
  • Maintains current and thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including company training, continuing education requirements, and federal and state regulations
