About The Position

Subsite Electronics, located in Perry, Oklahoma is a division of The Toro Company. Subsite Electronics provides underground construction professionals the most comprehensive suite of electronic products in the industry, including Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) guidance equipment, utility locators, utility inspection systems, and equipment machine controls The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for supporting and growing the profitable sales of Subsite Electronics and Hammerhead mole products through the Ditch Witch distribution channel, within their assigned geography. This role seeks to maximize sales of Subsite and Hammerhead mole products through the Ditch Witch channel by providing product training, product demonstrations, end-user/customer support, sales aids and other assistance, as appropriate. This role also contributes to the development of the Subsite and Hammerhead mole sales goals/strategies, retail programs, sales incentive programs, tradeshow plans and marketing campaigns. In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: Develop and maintain success relationships with dealerships and customers Establish their position as the product expert of electronics and moles for both dealer and customer Achieve knowledge of both competitive and legacy product lines Develop selling aids, and supporting promotional material Build consultative relationships with dealerships and customers Conduct field demonstrations of equipment and effectively troubleshoot customer needs Participate in regional and national trade shows Handle day-to-day functions related to sales order procedure Contribute to the sales organization by providing data to support sales goals and objectives Gather pertinent information from dealers on a regular basis as it relates to market trends This position is based in Perry, OK. To reach sales goals and maximize customer service, 50% travel is expected

Requirements

  • DSM I: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field; equivalent industry and sales experience in lieu of completed degree will be considered. Have 3+ years of experience in sales or as a factory representative.
  • RSM I: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required 5+ years of successful durable goods sales experience.
  • Outdoor power equipment, power sports or related dealer sales experience preferred.
  • Substantive business understanding of dealerships and/or distributorships.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, negotiating and influential leadership skills.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
