About The Position

The Sales Manager drives group and catering revenue through proactive prospecting, regional relationship building, and full-cycle sales execution from proposal to BEO.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hotel sales experience with a focus on groups, banquets, and catering.
• Proficiency in Tripleseat and Opera; Marriott experience strongly preferred.
• Local market knowledge of Mendocino County and key feeder markets including the Bay Area, Napa/Sonoma, and Sacramento.

Nice To Haves

• Established relationships with wedding planners, corporate travel planners, and regional partners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate new group and catering business through prospecting, cold calls, and site visits.
• Build relationships with local vendors and regional feeder markets.
• Manage the full sales cycle: proposals, contracts, and BEOs.
• Drive revenue through targeted outreach and market development.
