About The Position

The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, is a business travel/leisure travel salesperson who has demonstrated through performance a thorough understanding andpetence in sales, account management functions and the hotel/business travel industry. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms and Hyatt services to transient market customers through corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel and crew. Duties include, but are not limited to: Managing current accounts Ensuring proper solicitation of all transient markets Client entertainment and may include travel to major cities within market Preparing and presenting effective proposals, presentations, maintaining wellanized documentation and reports Utilizing Hyatt technology systems Coordinating customer service requirements with hotel staff as appropriate Participate in and may lead event meetings, sales and other staff meetings The Sales Manager, Individual Travel, is a business travel/leisure travel sales person who has demonstrated through performance a thorough understanding andpetence in sales, account management functions and the hotel/business travel industry. Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Refined verbal and writtenmunication skills
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales orparable experience preferred
  • Must be proficient in generalputer knowledge, hotelligence, rfp express, lanyon, salesforce, and Agency360

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
  • Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded
