CHEQ by Cantaloupe is a next generation mobile payments and POS company, connecting consumers and businesses to create frictionless, amazing in-person experiences. CHEQ’s universal ordering and payment platform is used by a wide variety of partners, including sports stadiums, entertainment venues, festivals, and restaurants to make transactions fun, easy, and worry-free. In this role, you will play an integral role in securing new deals with sports stadiums and entertainment venues. This role will report directly to the SVP at CHEQ by Cantaloupe.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development and partnership management in a high-growth capacity.
  • 2+ years of experience in point of sale and/or payment technology sales
  • Strong rolodex of key contacts across the sports, entertainment, hospitality, and food service industries
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to travel

Responsibilities

  • Secure new partnerships and strategic sales opportunities with sports stadiums and entertainment venues to accept and leverage CHEQ’s payment platform, inclusive of point of sale, self-checkout kiosks, handhelds, micro markets, and mobile/social ordering solutions.
  • Lead and manage new business development efforts for enterprise stadium and venue accounts, including pipeline development, prospecting, demoing, and contract negotiation.
  • Oversee and manage existing client relationships, working closely with customer success, business operations, account management, and marketing teams.
  • Travel to industry specific events to promote technology to potential buyers and key decision makers.
