About The Position

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for researching and analyzing the assigned market territory, identifying and generating business opportunities; developing quotes, delivering proposals and selling Industrial equipment solutions to end-users in order to exceed targeted revenue goals. The position will involve selling in the East region of the North American territory. The role requires aggressive sales activity, cross-departmental collaboration, independent initiative, and solution-based selling skills to be successful. The ideal candidate should have proven outside sales experience in business-to-business solution sales and proven success in consistently exceeding quota. In addition, the candidate should have good financial acumen and be comfortable interacting with all levels within customer organizations (owners/executives to operations and maintenance) and developing/building relationships across an organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Attended or obtained certificates from professional sales training
  • Understands and deploys tactics on strategic selling
  • A passion to learn and investigate opportunities. Inquisitive and entrepreneurial
  • Ability to acquire or possess understanding of mechanical equipment
  • A highly-organized individual who uses software to manage tasks, mid-range and long-range goals
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations over the telephone
  • Excellent questioning, listening, negotiating, handling objections, qualifying, and closing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Exceptional selling skills as demonstrated by results achieved
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focusing on the targeted customers and prospects
  • Responsible for prospecting, identifying, and developing new customer opportunities and expanding existing customer opportunities within your territory
  • Responsible for responding to and developing leads in conjunction with Marketing team
  • Responsible for maintaining the sales pipeline for all opportunities within Salesforce, our CRM system.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all sales transactions
  • Meet and exceed company profit expectations on all sales transactions
  • Attract, generate, manage, record and convert leads from inbound telephone, trade show and website activity
  • Attend trade shows, on occasion, to generate new leads
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Exhibit proficient knowledge and use of company systems and software
  • Build exceptional internal relationships with all JWC departments and divisions
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow up activities within their assigned territory
  • Maintains a professional image as a representative of the Company.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
