In this on-the-job training position, you will learn all the ins and outs of selling a full-service hotel. Requirements

  • Demonstrated sales ability
  • Possess a "Do it now" and "Yes, I can" approach
  • "Guest first" approach
  • Outgoing, inquisitive personality
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated closing skills
  • Commensurate or transfer skill set is of primary importance.
  • Good attitude and work ethic practices to attain maximum operating efficiency while ensuring adherence to established guest satisfaction criteria.
  • Operational/Service background or orientation
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management
  • Knowledge of Food and Beverage (catering)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Top Accounts
  • Prospect business for the pipeline and hit list
  • Direct Sales Calls in the market
  • Handle Group Bookings & Inquiries
  • Send out contracts to verify rooms and meeting space commitments
