Position Summary Reporting to the General Manager EMEA, the Sales Manager will drive Embed’s business growth across Europe and the Middle East & North Africa regions, focusing on the specified region as per the GM assigns. This is both a strategic and tactical role: developing clear sales strategies, forecasts, and long-term plans, while also executing daty-to-day sales activity, meeting customers face-to-face, and directly contributing to revenue growth. The role requires a highly motivated, target-driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to manage time effectively, and a “roll up your sleeves” approach. Prior experience in technology or software sales is highly regarded. The Sales Manager is a key point of contact with clients and partners, expected to uphold Embed’s professionalism, integrity, and service standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (or related discipline).
  • Professional sales qualifications and/or technical education.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in B2B or account management, ideally within technology/software sales.
  • Strong understanding of the leisure/entertainment ecosystem and sales lifecycle in Europe
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong, trust-based customer and partner relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Experience working in high-growth environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently or as part of a multi-cultural, international team.

Responsibilities

  • Generate profitable revenue from new and existing accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quotas across assigned regions.
  • Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Participate in business development activities: researching prospects, evaluating potential, developing proposals/quotations.
  • Act as the primary Embed representative for managing key distributor relationships within the assigned region.
  • Ensure distributors are fully aligned with Embed’s sales strategy, product positioning, and customer engagement standards.
  • Provide distributors with sales enablement tools, product updates, and training as needed.
  • Monitor distributor performance against agreed sales targets and support them in achieving growth objectives.
  • Work as the escalation point for any distributor-related issues, ensuring strong collaboration and partnership.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets, including product mix and gross profit levels.
  • Establish short, medium, and long-term sales strategies.
  • Maintain strong competitor and market analysis to guide strategy.
  • Provide weekly or bi-weekly top-line sales reviews covering achievements and pipeline outlook.
  • Update CRM (Salesforce) in a timely and accurate manner for all opportunities, contacts, and activities.
  • Participate in regular forecast cadences, managing commit/upside/pipeline against assigned targets.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring satisfaction with provided solutions.
  • Expedite resolution of sales-related customer issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Build productive and professional relationships with decision makers in client organisations.
  • Develop strong vendor/industry relationships to build brand presence, gain referrals, and enhance market insight.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Marketing, Logistics, Technical Support) to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Support technical team on RFP responses and system installations.
  • Assist Marketing with trade shows, campaigns, and sourcing testimonials.
  • Represent Embed at international trade shows and regional industry events.
  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge, emerging trends, and competitor positioning.
