About The Position

Location: Remote (with travel to client sites as needed); While this is a remote role, if you reside within 25 miles of a DXC local office, you will be required to work onsite at least 2 days per week. Role Overview: As a Sales Manager – Dynatrace, you will drive growth of DXC’s Dynatrace-based observability offerings by qualifying opportunities, progressing pipeline, and closing services and solutions engagements. You’ll partner closely with account teams, solutioning/presales, and Dynatrace counterparts to create value-based proposals aligned to client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of enterprise technology sales and/or sales support experience
  • Exposure to observability/APM solutions; Dynatrace familiarity is a strong plus
  • Experience with consultative, outcome-led selling (discovery → value proposition → solution shaping → close)
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive opportunities forward
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling services/solutions in managed services, cloud operations, application operations, SRE/IT operations, or automation
  • Experience co-selling with partners and alliance teams (Dynatrace field, channel, or GSI motions)
  • Familiarity with customer buying centers across IT Ops, App teams, Platform Engineering, Security, and Digital leaders
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to run structured discovery and articulate business/technical value clearly
  • Negotiation and deal orchestration skills; comfortable coordinating multiple teams
  • Strong pipeline discipline, forecasting, and CRM hygiene

Responsibilities

  • Own sales execution for DXC’s Dynatrace offerings: qualify, pursue, and close opportunities across existing accounts and selected new-logo targets
  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline by identifying, progressing, and appropriately disqualifying opportunities using clear qualification criteria
  • Lead discovery and position business value by translating observability use cases into measurable outcomes (resilience, performance, cost optimization, automation)
  • Collaborate with Dynatrace and DXC teams on joint account planning, campaigns, and co-selling motions
  • Coordinate stakeholders (presales, delivery, product, partner/alliance teams) to shape solutions, develop proposals, and drive deal velocity
  • Build relationships with customer stakeholders (IT and business leaders) to understand priorities and align solutions to the customer’s technology strategy
  • Maintain forecast accuracy and sales hygiene (CRM updates, deal reviews, close plans, and risk mitigation)
