SALES INVENTORY MANAGER The purpose of this position is to work with Sales Managers, Accounting, and Service departments to maintain and manage all vehicle inventories.

Requirements

  • Prior to being employed, applicants for employment must participate in the Dealership’s normal screening process which includes: completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal, credit and driving records checks (where applicable); in-person interviews and other inquiries.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
  • Basic communication, problem solving skills, and mathematical skills using American units of measure.
  • Physical demands include: constantly position body and move in order to retrieve vehicles from parking lots; inspect and drive vehicles; detect and identify vehicle issues and shop safety concerns; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 20lbs occasionally, 10lbs frequently); operate tools and equipment; repetitive motion. Work is conducted inside, outside, on public roadways, and in a shop environment in proximity to moving vehicles, with occasional exposure to chemicals.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities is preferred.
  • Previous experience using CDK, MB Netstar, and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inventory is stocked-in and pricing is accurate
  • Maintain control of inventory, books, keys, etc. and perform consistent audits
  • Coordinate with Internal Advisor to facilitate all needed work and monitor production processes and timelines
  • Coordinate with Accounting office
  • Manage dealer trade/acquisitions and logistics
  • Manage vehicle transportation needs
  • Proactively communicate potential issues with customers, management and other departments in order to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
