About The Position

This is an opportunity to go behind the scenes of how creator marketing deals are developed at Open Influence—we’re looking for summer interns who are excited to learn how strategy, storytelling, and sales come together to drive business growth. As an intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside a team that blends creativity, strategy, and execution. PROGRAM DETAILS This is a paid summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience in creator marketing. Schedule: 3 days per week (24 hours total) Format: 2 days in-office (New York) + 1 day remote Duration: Summer 2026 WHAT YOU’LL DO As a Sales Intern, you will support the Sales team across various stages of the pre-sale and proposal development process. This program is designed to provide exposure to sales operations, client strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, while building foundational skills in organization, research, and business development.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.); Spring 2026 graduates welcome
  • Interest in sales, marketing, and/or business development
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Able to work a hybrid schedule, including 2 days per week in our New York office

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Google Sheets / Slides / Excel or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
  • Positive, professional attitude and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of sales materials by gathering insights from past campaigns, industry trends, and creator marketing strategies
  • Conduct research on prospective clients, industries, and market trends to inform outreach and overall sales strategy
  • Assist with lead generation efforts by identifying, organizing, and qualifying potential client contacts using sales tools and platforms
  • Collaborate with Sales, Creative, and Strategy teams to support the creation of tailored pitch materials and presentations
  • Help organize and maintain sales resources, including case studies, decks, and internal documentation
  • Assist in identifying relevant creator examples and content samples to include in pitch decks
  • Support the preparation of client-facing materials by formatting presentations and compiling relevant data and examples
  • Gain exposure to cross-functional collaboration by working closely with Creative, Strategy, and Account Management teams
