The Sales Intern supports the growth of Aramark’s Refreshments line of business by assisting with lead generation, customer outreach, sales operations, and market research. This role is designed for students interested in developing handson experience in B2B sales, client relationship building, and routebased service operations within a national organization. Interns work closely with Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Operational Leaders to understand the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—and how Aramark delivers workplace coffee, snacks, water, and micromarket solutions to clients across diverse industries.

Requirements

  • Candidates actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any field of study. A major in hospitality, business, marketing, or sales is preferred.

  • Candidates willing to work flexible hours, which may include nights, weekends or holidays
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation — Identify and qualify prospective clients through research, outbound outreach, and CRM tools.
  • Sales support — Assist Sales Managers with proposals, presentations, product samples, and followup communications.
  • Customer outreach — Participate in outbound calling, email campaigns, and appointment setting to support territory growth.
  • Market research — Analyze local competitors, industry trends, and customer needs to support strategic planning.
  • CRM management — Update and maintain accurate records in Salesforce or other sales systems.
  • Field shadowing — Accompany sales and service teams on client visits to learn product offerings and customer experience expectations.
  • Project work — Complete a capstone project focused on improving sales processes, customer engagement, or territory performance.
  • Cross functional collaboration — Partner with operations, marketing, and service teams to understand how Refreshments solutions are delivered endtoend.
