About The Position

As the Sales Intake & Conversion Specialist, you will convert qualified leads to signed clients, conduct expert intake conversations, and maintain disciplined follow‑up throughout the decision cycle. You own your pipeline, uphold our standards, and ensure a warm, complete handoff to the legal team. This role is critical in connecting potential clients with the legal representation they need while ensuring a seamless handoff to the firm’s legal teams. Working closely with the firm’s leadership, including Patrick McLain, you will help shape the client engagement strategy and contribute to the firm’s growth goals.

Requirements

  • Cultural Fit: Strong understanding of military culture and criminal defense client needs, ensuring alignment with the firm’s core values.
  • Client-Focused Communicator: Balances empathy and urgency without being pushy. Handles sensitive matters with professionalism.
  • Problem-Solver: A strategic thinker who thrives on overcoming objections and delivering solutions. Persistent and resilient, you’re comfortable with structured follow-up and objection handling until there’s a clear yes or no.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Preferred: Proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high‑quality intake calls and consultations that assess fit, set expectations, and move potential clients toward clear next steps and signed agreements.
  • Drive consistent follow‑up across 5 to 12 touchpoints. Use phone, text, email, and CRM tasks to keep momentum. Maintain clean notes and next actions for every lead.
  • Achieve and then exceed current conversion benchmarks. Track your metrics, review outcomes, and use simple analysis to improve your own close rate.
  • Ensure a complete warm handoff to attorneys and paralegals with accurate facts, issues, goals, payment status, and promised follow‑ups.
  • Communicate value over price. Position outcomes, communication, and care, and explain why a premium service is in the client’s best interest.
  • Build and nurture relationships. Re‑engage past clients and past potential clients and cultivate referral sources. Do not wait on website inquiries alone.
  • Learn the essentials of criminal defense and military justice quickly so you can speak credibly, ask smart questions, and earn trust.
  • Coordinate with marketing and intake teammates for smooth processes, without supervisory duties.
