About The Position

As a Sales General Manager, you will lead the charge in delivering outstanding customer experience while maximizing sales performance across your store. You’ll bring together your operational expertise, leadership capability, and drive for results to manage a team, develop strategy, and ensure performance in a fast-paced RV retail environment. This role blends sales leadership with business acumen and is perfect for a motivated leader passionate about mentoring others and driving growth. Key Objectives Customer Experience: Champion a culture of hospitality and service excellence by regularly reviewing customer feedback, improving processes, and celebrating wins Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to exceed revenue targets and increase profit margins People Leadership: Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team with a focus on individual growth and team success Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with operations, finance, and inventory to optimize processes and unit availability Performance Analysis: Regularly review sales metrics and performance dashboards to identify wins, gaps, and strategic opportunities Event & Campaign Leadership: Lead community outreach, store events, and local marketing campaigns to drive traffic and engagement Budgeting & Planning: Manage department budget and forecasting to support store-wide profitability and efficiency goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager, GSM, or similar leadership role in a performance-based environment
  • A track record of leading and motivating sales teams to exceed revenue and customer satisfaction goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication, coaching, and negotiation skill
  • Business acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
  • Passion for mentoring others and building strong team culture

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of RV products and industry trends is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Monitor customer service feedback and implement changes to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Drive strategic sales initiatives to achieve store goals and maintain competitive edge
  • Collaborate with inventory and operations teams to ensure unit availability and lot readiness
  • Coach and mentor sales team members through regular feedback, training, and performance plan
  • Use data to forecast sales trends, adjust strategy, and report results to senior leadership
  • Promote and participate in local events, partnerships, and marketing opportunities to increase store visibility and reputation
  • Contribute to company culture and team cohesion through recognition, communication, and accountability
