About The Position

Bob Bell Ford/Hyundai is seeking an Experienced General Sales Manager to lead our busy dealership. We’re looking for a results-driven professional who thrives on building, coaching, and motivating a high-performing sales team. NO SUNDAYS! The ideal candidate will be focused on meeting and exceeding sales objectives while maximizing profitability, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering an outstanding dealership experience. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an Automotive Sales Department (must have management experience)
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong record of customer satisfaction and sales success
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with CDK or other automotive software (preferred)
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff in customer service, communication, organization, and time management
  • Lead by example, modeling motivation, professionalism, and superior customer service
  • Set goals, monitor daily productivity, and provide actionable coaching for improvement
  • Oversee sales team performance during in-person, phone, and digital customer interactions
  • Assist in forecasting department goals and driving strategies to meet or exceed them
  • Conduct sales meetings and participate in management meetings
  • Resolve customer concerns effectively and professionally
  • Ensure strong performance in manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) metrics
  • Drive a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance
