EnerSys®, a NYSE-listed company, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual for a Communications Intern position for the summer of 2025. This paid 10-12-week internship offers hands-on experience in a corporate sales environment, where you will gain exposure to sales strategies, customer engagement, business development, market research, and sales operations. As a Communications Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with experienced sales professionals, and develop essential skills to thrive in a competitive business landscape.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program (Business, Analytics, Data Science preferred).
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently, manage relationships, and pay attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends with AI experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (preferred).
  • A solid academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Availability to work on-site for 10-12 weeks at Reading, PA or Bellingham, WA office.

Responsibilities

  • Automate end-to-end actuals collection from necessary data sources
  • Cleanse data using AI powered validation rules
  • Feed clean actuals directly into statistical forecasting model
  • Enable real time forecast updates w/ minimal human intervention
  • Improve overall forecasting accuracy and reduce current process cycle time
  • Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to gain hands-on experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall process
