About The Position

MPS Group, Inc . is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to join our Industrial Services Group at Headquarters located in Farmington Hills, MI. This role is responsible for the full sales cycle—driving revenue growth through new business development and expanding relationships with existing customers. You will work closely with the Director of Sales and the Industrial Services Group General Manager to achieve annual growth targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in industrial services (e.g., paint booth cleaning, industrial cleaning tools and techniques, estimating and bid preparation).
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, including prospecting and problem-solving in partnership with operations teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and safety/environmental standards.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing industries and complex corporate environments.
  • Apply mathematical concepts and basic accounting principles.
  • Define problems, collect data, and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Ability to sit, stand, climb, and walk large manufacturing facilities (indoor/outdoor).
  • Occasionally lift to 25 lbs.; may encounter extreme temperatures and loud environments during site visits.
  • Frequent overnight travel, including interstate driving and air travel; limited international travel (Canada).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new customers in existing and diverse markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand MPS Group’s presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current customers to drive loyalty and organic growth.
  • Lead RFP costing and estimating processes; prepare accurate bids and professional proposals.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and technical proposals to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Attend trade shows and develop marketing tools to generate leads and reach new targets.
  • Partner with purchasing and vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms, improving competitiveness.
  • Work with management to negotiate agreements with new customers.
  • Assist senior leadership with business planning initiatives.
