About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh as a Sales Executive for our PEMA Practice (Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions) supporting the Houston, TX and Dallas, TX areas. The successful candidate will lead daily operations from a support and administrative level, coordinating complex logistics and task assignments for client relationship projects while ensuring effective communication and problem resolution. We will count on you to: Advise clients on risk and placement within specialized client segments such as workers' comp, excess and surplus, casualty, property, life and health sciences, terrorism, and cybersecurity. Recommend reinsurance placements based on financial data, reinsurance policies, and quantitative analyses, often utilizing insights from junior colleagues. Develop compelling risk exposure insights by analyzing risk information and prior client cases to support client consultations. Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and reinsurers to help expand the business. Implement processes and policies suggested by senior management to help drive the team toward achieving financial targets. Encourage team members to enhance their understanding of financial and strategic advisory through educational workshops, professional publications, networking, and participation in professional societies. Requirements

  • Proven experience in risk management, insurance, or reinsurance, preferably within a client advisory or sales role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and quantitative analyses.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with clients, reinsurers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support team development initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry-specific certifications or advanced degrees in finance, risk management, or related fields.
  • Experience working within private equity, mergers, and acquisitions sectors.
  • Knowledge of specialized client segments such as cybersecurity, terrorism, or health sciences.
  • Demonstrated success in expanding client portfolios and developing new business opportunities.
