Develop new leads by calling on merchants and generating leads for the sales executives. Duties & Responsibilities Essential Functions Contact prospects and referrals by telephone and in person in order to solicit sales for credit card processing services. Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers. Obtain merchant statements in an effort to do cost analysis. Demonstrate product features to prospective customers. Prepare merchant applications for signature by potential customer. Present cost analysis to customers in an effort to obtain business via the telephone or face-to-face methods as needed. Log and track information in the CRM daily. Additional Functions Assist the Sales Manager with day to day tasks Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific businesses. Occasionally travel and represent Basys at trade shows. Modify and adjust sales processes as needed, with input from management. Occasionally partner with marketing for marketing requests. Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior Sales Experience
  • Solid computer, grammar and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
  • This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to one day per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or other related fields is preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year experience selling, opening new accounts and relationship management via phone or face to face
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
