About The Position

We are seeking a Sales/Estimator Assistant to join our Regional Construction Division. This is a support-based role designed for a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated individual interested in learning the estimating and sales process within the construction industry. The Sales/Estimator Assistant will work closely with our Estimators and Sales Representatives to prepare proposals, perform takeoffs, assist with job measurements, and participate in site visits to support accurate bidding and project planning.

Requirements

Prior experience or education in construction, estimating, or sales support preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Bluebeam or takeoff software a plus
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to visit job sites and learn field measurements
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Assist estimators in preparing and formatting project proposals, bids, and scope documents
Perform basic takeoffs, measurements, and quantity calculations from blueprints and site plans
Support sales team with gathering information, photos, and data during job site visits
Help coordinate and track bid opportunities, subcontractor quotes, and project documentation
Input and maintain project data within CRM and estimating systems
Attend client meetings or site walkthroughs with estimators or sales reps as needed
Assist in developing job costing summaries and post-bid follow-up documentation
Provide general administrative and organizational support to the estimating and sales departments
