About The Position

Motor City Wash Works is seeking a Sales Engineering Intern to support the sales, engineering, and operations teams during a 12-week summer internship. This role is intended for Industrial Engineering students interested in manufacturing, engineered systems, and technical sales. Interns are treated as junior professionals and expected to contribute meaningfully to real business initiatives.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Interest in technical sales, manufacturing, and engineered systems
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Support Configure One development, quoting, and system configuration
• Assist with MCWW equipment sizer reviews and provide technical support to sales teams
• Process equipment orders, SaaS contracts, and ensure accurate documentation
• Develop, document, and improve internal processes
• Support marketing and sales efforts, including development of product battlecards
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, Technical Support, and Sales
