About The Position

The Sales Engineer will support our Vice President of Business Development and drive growth in the metal building industry. The hybrid role is focused on both operational excellence – managing contractors, data integrity, and change orders as well as revenue-generating positioning with full sales ownership. The role thrives on detail-oriented process skills with a passion for building client relationships and closing deals. Sales Operations Support Manage contract lifecycle, including creation, execution, and change orders. Maintain CRM accuracy and ensure timely data entry. Coordinate with internal teams for ordering processing, project alignment, manufacturing, and delivery. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards. Other duties as assigned. Business Development Qualify and manage leads for metal building projects. Develop proposals and quotes using industry tools and design software. Close deals and maintain long-term client relationships. Collaborate with contractors, architects, and project managers. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, inside sales, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Technical aptitude with quoting/design software.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
