We are seeking proactive, highly intelligent, passionate, and personable Sales Engineer to join our McMurray, PA office who is excited to consult, solve complex challenges, and make a meaningful impact on current and future generations. This position requires direct employment. We do not consider C2C (Corp-to-Corp) or 1099 contract arrangements. As a Sales Engineer with DSA, you will become a trusted automation consultant for your clients. You will experience project diversity and help customers design effective solutions through integrated systems: IIOT and data acquisition Instrumentation and automated test equipment Process controls, quality inspection, and motion control Vision systems and robotics Machine design and build Artificial intelligence and machine learning Real‑time visualization and advanced analytics

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering or Science preferred
  • 0–5 years’ experience, preferably in technical sales
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales quotas
  • Comfortable presenting, advising, and building long‑term customer relationships
  • Motivated, organized, and energized by challenging, innovative work
  • Travel to domestic and international customer sites (up to 30% annually)

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously and collaborate closely with our engineering team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Drive new business development and expand existing accounts through professional consultative selling
  • Accurately price projects while identifying technical and financial risks
  • Maintain detailed and up‑to‑date records of prospects and project leads
  • Deliver compelling presentations and guide clients through complex technical decisions
