About The Position

As a Sales Engineer you will develop an understanding of market requirements, showcase platform capabilities to prospective clients and partners, collaborate with internal and external audiences to design customized solutions, and help commercialize our solutions. This is a multifaceted position encompassing diverse responsibilities, including technical learning and documentation, solutions design, sales facilitation, custom mock creation and strategic consultancy, and offers opportunities to contribute significantly to our clients' and our company's success.

Requirements

  • 6 years of demonstrated excellence in a similar role and tech company operating environment, ideally including adtech or martech experience.
  • Ability to immerse in the inner workings of complex and innovative new technology like AI and rapidly become a subject matter expert.
  • Passion for innovation and helping publishers, agencies and brands to define the future of media, marketing, and AI.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, including with clients, product management, and C-level executive audiences, with an aptitude for explaining highly technical concepts and demonstrating high professional integrity.
  • Highly organized self-starter with the skills and zeal to take accountability for and leadership of multiple projects and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Sales collaboration and proposal development
  • Conduct product demos to showcase the functionality and benefits of Firsthand solutions to Publishers, Agencies and Brands, providing technical explanations in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to represent technical and product functionality in pitches and proposals.
  • Solution design and implementation
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and challenges.
  • Develop and showcase customized solutions that align with client requirements.
  • Technical guidance
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to publisher clients during pre-sales processes.
  • Work with internal teams to scope and design technical implementations for Publishers, Agencies and Brands
  • Product Collaboration
  • Surface prospect and market requirements and feature requests to the Firsthand product team.
  • Collaborate with the Firsthand Product team to identify areas for future optimization of Firsthand products
