Smadex is a global leader in the programmatic space, providing a world-class DSP for mobile, CTV, and video. As we scale our footprint across the Americas, we are looking for a strategic powerhouse to lead our partnership efforts. You will be the face of Smadex to the industry’s most important players, moving beyond simple networking to build high-value, sustainable alliances that drive revenue and product innovation. To help us continue our growth, we are looking for a tech-savvy and client-facing individual to join our team as a Sales Engineer Lead - US. You will be responsible for setting the technical strategy, ensuring global support excellence, and driving the growth and development. As the Sales Engineer Lead - US, you will be a key player in our growth, partnering with the Sales team to drive successful deals by leveraging your deep product expertise. You will lead our team of Sales Engineers, who serve as trusted technical advisors, expertly guiding clients through complex conversations on attribution, measurement, and performance to maximize their success with Smadex.

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of technical experience in the AdTech ecosystem (DSP, SSP, agency, or ad serving platform), including 2+ years of direct experience leading, mentoring, or managing a technical team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a geographically dispersed team (e.g., across US, Europe, APAC) and establish consistent technical processes and standards globally
  • Exceptional analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to ask insightful questions and utilize sound data analysis to transform findings into actionable solutions and insights.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for prototyping, automation, or integration with analytics and tracking tools.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting and experience in Cloud development (e.g., AWS, GCP,..)
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the final point of technical escalation for complex client issues.
  • Oversee the creation and deployment of technical resources (tools, tutorials, playbooks) to scale team efficiency and empower internal and external stakeholders globally.
  • Align the Sales Engineering function with regional Sales/Account Management leadership to meet business objectives.
  • Represent Smadex in high-stakes client engagements, including occasional international travel.
  • Systematically synthesize regional client feedback into a consolidated "Voice of the Customer" to directly influence the Product and Engineering roadmap.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to scale platform technical capabilities and integration points.
