About This Role This internship is designed to expose you to real-world sales processes, business operations, and cross-functional collaboration within a Carrier-owned company. Throughout this program, you’ll rotate through various departments while supporting our sales efforts, gaining a holistic view of how our business operates. This will be a very immersive experience that will challenge you to develop or sharpen your sales skills, while leveraging your technical acumen.

  • Rotate support through Automated Logic Contracting Services departments (Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service)
  • Work directly with our industry-leading Sales Professionals and customers.
  • Understand the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, including HVAC equipment and building management controls.
  • Be exposed to various facets of Carrier’s businesses: Service, Equipment, Building Automation, Application, Fulfillment, and more.
  • Attend sales meetings, business functions, sales and service calls, and customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors.
  • Understand and participate in the steps sales engineers take from start to finish on a job.
  • Appreciate the importance of customer relationships as you work with them as a daily point-of-contact, creating a sense of ownership and importance in the solution-making process.
  • Participate in a structured program that will challenge and develop your technical, business, sales, leadership, and communication skills.
  • This internship gives insight into a sales engineering career with Carrier and the potential opportunity to join Automated Logic
  • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Engineering, Operations, or any Business field
  • Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
