About The Position

The Sales Engineer III – National is responsible for assessing and designing Security products to meet our client’s technology and business needs. Incumbents consult with our clients to analyze and identify technical requirements. Incumbents are subject matter experts for security partners and client opportunities. Architect Sr provides leadership and technical support to other Engineers/Architects. Along the way, you will get to: Assess and design security solutions Research and evaluate clients’ infrastructure/architecture, draw conclusions, and develop security product/solution recommendations aligned to engagement objectives. Lead client-facing consulting activities Identify and resolve client issues and opportunities; gather and lead business/technical requirements; deliver briefings, status reports, presentations, and milestone deliverables to clients and prospects. Implement and support technology practices Implement technologies and solutions based on designs; work with internal teams to define opportunities, standards, and templates; contribute to developing technology practices and share market trend insights with the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent technical work performance) and at least 8 years’ experience architecting, designing, and/or implementing advanced security and network solutions; consulting/professional services experience preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of advanced security and networking technologies, with the ability to specialize in one or more IT technologies and understand technology roadmaps relevant to clients and partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex/abstract technical concepts clearly; proven relationship-building skills with clients, executives, partners, and suppliers; ability to multi-task and interface professionally with client executives.
