About The Position

As a National Pre-Sales Engineer III – Data Center, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support and guidance to the Insight sales organization and their clients in support of Datacenter Technologies, including Networking, Servers, and Storage.. We will count on you to maintain industry standard certifications (see certifications for this role below) and provide Intermediate level technical assistance, including qualifying opportunities, developing solutions, creating complex configurations, and other technical renderings. Along the way, you will get to: Must maintain baseline industry certifications and partner specializations within a specific technology as well as utilize partner configuration tools. Assist in developing and executing a strategic plan to drive awareness, adoption and preference for Eaton data center solutions in the market. Deliver compelling presentations, demos, videos, webinars and other content that showcase Eaton’s value proposition and differentiation. Engage with customers to understand their needs, challenges and feedback, and provide insights and recommendations on how Eaton solutions can address them. Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology and 5-7 years on the job experience or outside experience in similar field; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Generalist level presales skills on Data Center partners and solutions (Server, Storage, Virtualization, Data Protection, Security)
  • Data Center solution design experience
  • Ability to demo basic Data Center products and solutions.
