As part of our Sales Development Program, you'll use your engineering mindset to connect cutting-edge technology with real customer needs, helping industries save energy and optimize performance every day. This program is your launchpad into a global career where technology meets business. You'll gain hands-on experience across sales development, account management, and commercial operations; developing the skills, confidence, and network to become one of Danfoss' potential future sales leaders. Have the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of verticals from Data Center applications through heavy industrial solutions. The first rotation will be at our US Drives HQ in Loves Park, Illinois!

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field).
  • A growth mindset-you're curious, adaptable, and see challenges as opportunities to learn.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence others.
  • A genuine interest in sales, technology, and sustainable innovation.
  • Willingness to travel and/or relocate during program rotations as you grow your career.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in industrial sales, automation controls, or engineering firms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong foundation in sales strategy, our technology and programs though our Sales rotational program across various disciplines such as DLS, Inside Sales, Account Management and more.
  • Support customers by working with leaders to understand their needs and create tailored Danfoss solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Develop and execute account strategies, working alongside experienced sales teams to win new opportunities and strengthen partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-from engineering to marketing-to turn technical expertise into commercial success.
  • Grow your leadership and communication skills through structured workshops, mentoring, and feedback-driven learning experiences.
