About The Position

Sales Enablement: Support broad enablement and sales cycle initiatives that drive awareness, acquisition, and engagement with both Southwest Business Employees and B2B Customers through communications, events, customer data analysis, and development. Process ongoing fulfilment requests and collaborate with other sales engagement work streams on administrative functions and continuous process improvement. Additional Details: Join Southwest as a Summer 2026 Intern, with a 12-week internship lasting from May 19 – August 7, 2026. Due to the nature of this role, you would be required to work from our Dallas, TX headquarters facility during business hours (2702 Love Field Drive). Dedicate 40 hours each week (maximum of 8 hours per day) to your internship responsibilities and tasks. Interns will be provided any required equipment, such as a laptop, for the internship. Requirements

  • Knowledge of the administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as processing words, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or
  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must have strong communications skills.
  • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and complete assignments with tight deadlines.
  • Good oral, written, and presentation skills required.
  • Progress toward a degree, major, or minor in Professional Sales, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Technology or similar degree required.
  • Progress towards a 4-year undergraduate degree preferred
  • To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (as defined by your university) at the time of application and during the internship
  • 1-2 semesters remaining at the time the internship ends is preferred
  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number to complete the full hiring process
  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Work experience in an Aviation environment.
  • Previous Work or Internship experience in analytics related role.
  • Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, or Salesforce.
  • Experience in Marketing Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team with communication, event fulfillment, Customer analytics, enablement research, and dashboard reporting.
  • Support communication, training, and development opportunities for the Southwest Business Team and Customers.
  • Provide support for Southwest Business knowledge management systems and tools, assessing accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Partner with various internal departments to fulfill administrative tasks as needed.
  • Participate in ad hoc sales enablement projects, trainings, and planning
