We are hiring an experienced Sales Director to drive new client acquisition across hedge funds. This is a 100% hunting role focused on originating, advancing, and closing new business for Hatched’s alternative data products. You will own the full sales cycle - from prospecting and lead generation through discovery, evaluation, negotiation, and close - while working closely with research, data, product, and client teams to ensure strong product-market fit and long-term client value. You will also work closely with company leadership, including a cofounder, to refine our go-to-market approach and ensure strong alignment between client needs, research priorities, and product development. This role is ideal for a commercially driven seller who understands the investment research workflow, is credible with senior buy-side stakeholders, and thrives in a highly consultative, solution-oriented sales environment.
