Job Summary The Vice President of Sales – Role is an executive responsible for supporting and managing the company’s sales organization across both retail and commercial print segments. This role drives revenue growth, expands market share, and builds strategic, long-term customer relationships. The VP oversees sales strategy, team leadership, client engagement, forecasting, and operational alignment for a select group of sellers in multiple cities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success by scaling sales teams and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Strong business acumen in direct mail, large format, commercial print, and retail.
  • Proficiency with CRM and analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for both retail and commercial markets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Set quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Oversee major negotiations, pricing strategy, logistics, and client issue resolution.
  • Promote the company’s value proposition and solutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop sales professionals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, innovation, and customer-centric execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and key strategic accounts.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for high-value clients in region
  • Support teams in uncovering client pain points and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, production, product development, and operations.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analytics.
  • Provide performance updates and strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and competitors.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Leverage insights from market data and client feedback.
