About The Position

As our next Sales Director (NA), you’ll be at the forefront of key account management, new business development, new customer acquisition, and marketing activities across the Americas region. Your expertise in automotive Tier‑1 sales, customer management, and cross‑functional project execution will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development within an automotive Tier‑1 supplier; OEM customer experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and excellent customer‑experience mindset.
  • Proven capabilities in marketing, negotiation, prioritization, project management, and time management.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong IT proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting customer quality audits or technical program launches.
  • Experience using workflow or project‑management tools (e.g., JE‑PDS).
  • Background in driveline products or automotive systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business, manage key accounts, and identify new customer opportunities.
  • Lead internal teams in RFQ processes, safe launches, and customer requirement fulfillment.
  • Build strong day‑to‑day customer relationships and manage expectations and deliverables.
  • Prepare agendas, detailed contact reports, and follow‑up documentation after all meetings.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional efforts (quality, engineering, project teams) to ensure issue resolution and project success.
  • Manage client projects from brief through delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and contractual commitments are met.
  • Perform quality control checks, support customer audits, and act as a brand/QC guardian.
  • Monitor internal workflows, identify improvements, and recommend enhancements.
