Join Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing as our Director, Foodservice Sales – North America, where you will lead a dynamic team of sales professionals across the country, creating growth within the foodservice channel. The team manages relationships with contract manufacturers and major quick service restaurant brands across savory, beverage, and sweet menu categories. Reporting into the Head of Channel Sales (VP of Sales), we are looking for a leader in the space to lead strategy, solutions, and actions that maximize our unique resources. We look for you to have top 50 QSR contacts, Flavor, Ingredient or Foodservice Manufacturing experience in product development and customization with success in top 100 restaurant chains. We are headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a (remote) home-based office with heavy travel (60%).

Requirements

  • Professional Business Degree or equivalent direct experience
  • 10+ years experience with success leading sales within the foodservice channel —preferably flavor, ingredient, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience with business growth within top 50 restaurant chains.
  • Expertise in product customization, menu development, and commercialization.
  • End-to-end project management skills—from concept to final product delivery.
  • Ability to travel (approx. 60%).

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a sales team of 8 that are focused on our Flavor and Ingredient solutions for the foodservice market.
  • Achieve annual sales targets by managing team measurements and driving strategic agreement on our North America 2030 Strategy.
  • Partner and influence with culinary and flavor application teams to drive and convert project pipeline into revenue growth.
  • Oversee complex customers and projects from brainstorming through commercialization, collaborating with supply chain, operations, pricing, regulatory, quality, legal, and other internal partners.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive Foodservice Commercial Playbook to guide sales, applications, and marketing teams.
  • Represent our brand and value proposition at major foodservice trade shows, industry events, and networking forums.
  • Develop sales territories, attracting and driving new business following a strategic territory plan.
