About The Position

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new sales opportunities across all Midmark business units. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and close collaboration with Sales and Marketing to fuel a strong, healthy sales pipeline. This is an ideal role for someone early in their sales career who thrives in a high-energy, goal-oriented environment and wants to build foundational commercial skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in lead generation, sales, or customer service (or equivalent combination)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of outbound prospecting and lead qualification techniques
  • Beginning to working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage high-volume outreach
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and results-driven

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound phone and email campaigns to identify and qualify new sales opportunities
  • Research target accounts and key decision-makers using Salesforce and prospecting tools
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads and assess readiness for sales engagement
  • Schedule discovery meetings for field sales representatives
  • Maintain accurate activity and lead documentation in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to improve lead quality, messaging, and handoff
  • Test and iterate on new sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity and performance goals
