About The Position

Sales Development Representative The Art of Education (AOE) is seeking a Sales Development Representative to help drive new business growth by identifying and engaging potential customers. In this role, you will use proven prospecting and qualification techniques to generate high-quality leads and set up key stakeholder meetings for our Sales Managers. You’ll be the first point of contact—initiating outreach, building relationships, and creating meaningful connections with prospective customers. Structured as a remote full-time exempt position.   • Experience with Hubspot CRM software and Google Suite preferred
  • Enterprise or B2B complex sales experience preferred but not required
  • Enterprise software sales experience, preferably in K-12 curriculum and professional learning software platforms preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated experience working with a variety of technology and technology platforms
  • A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, but not required

  • Enterprise software sales experience, preferably in K-12 curriculum and professional learning software platforms preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential customers in meaningful, entry-level discussions regarding their needs and goals that will result in meeting opportunities for the sales managers
  • Manage multiple lead flows simultaneously in order to produce meeting opportunities for sales managers
  • Deliver on weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics
  • Formulate and execute comprehensive business development plans that support sales managers
  • Assists with the ad-hoc selling activities/needs across all sales territories as available
  • Attend certain education conferences to create sales opportunities in the form of leads for sales managers
  • Assists in evaluating market trends, education legislation, and competitive information that affect current and future revenues
  • Drive selling activities across small-market accounts
  • Travel up to 5% of the time
  • Since AOE operates in a fully remote/online environment, requirements include frequent and prolonged use of computers and other technology, and the ability to enter information into a computer using a keyboard or alternative.
