We're looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Financial Institutions sales team. This role supports all aspects of the company’s sales activities and will prospect and develop qualified sales opportunities. SDRs are responsible for supporting, winning and developing current and prospective accounts by working closely with the sales teams through, but not limited to, outbound cold-calling efforts (SDR), email campaigns, and/or inbound lead qualification. What you will do Market Intelligence: Execute deep-dive research and data mining on target financial institutions to identify high-value opportunities within assigned territories Pipeline Generation: Spearhead multi-channel "touch" campaigns and follow up on digital leads (webcasts/eSeminars) to secure qualified appointments Sales Operations: Maintain CRM integrity by managing lead lifecycles, meeting notes, and prospecting data within Salesforce Strategic Alignment: Partner with Sales to develop precision target lists and synchronize calendars for optimized geographic outreach Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between internal teams to refine lead qualification and improve feedback loops on lead outcomes Growth Analytics: Track and report on key business development metrics, linking prospecting activity directly to revenue generation Deal Support: Facilitate the RFP process and reference gathering while representing the brand at high-impact industry tradeshows and conferences What experience you need Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business related discipline 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or other related sales roles Outbound telephone cold-calling experience preferred, particularly in enterprise and/or midmarket B2B sales environments Exposure selling/introducing/discussing services with Director or “C” level executives Ability to open doors via telephone conversations and reach key decision-makers Knowledge/experience with a 'contact’ database such as Salesforce preferred Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills: creative, articulate, concise, and persuasive What could set you apart Experience working at or with Financial Institutions or Credit Unions Ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines Positive, resilient, upbeat, and determined personality Team player mentality with ability to make independent choices and recommendations without immediate direction or supervision Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and research skills Located in Atlanta, GA Equifax is required by law to include a good-faith salary range for this role. This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. At Equifax, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $67,630.00 to $80,000.00. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or other related sales roles
  • Outbound telephone cold-calling experience preferred, particularly in enterprise and/or midmarket B2B sales environments
