About The Position

Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a Sales Development Representative for their client. This role focuses on high-volume outbound prospecting and lead generation through cold-calling within the oil & gas sector. The Sales Development Specialist will assist the acquisition team by identifying, contacting, and qualifying mineral and royalty owners across the nation. Key aspects of the role include consistent outreach, relationship-building, and uncovering opportunities for senior team members to pursue. The ideal candidate is coachable, persistent, and comfortable making a high volume of calls, aiming for up to 85 meaningful conversations per week. This position is based in Little Rock and requires 100% in-office presence.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in outbound sales, cold calling, business development, or lead generation.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills with the ability to handle a high-volume calling environment.
  • Comfortable speaking with property owners and asking qualifying questions.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a consistent pipeline of prospects.
  • Must be comfortable with one-time transaction sales cycles and outbound prospecting.
  • Previous success in sales, recruiting, staffing, or another phone-heavy role may be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using CRM systems and tracking activity is a plus.
  • Industry experience in mineral and royalty acquisitions is helpful, but not required.
  • Experience in cold calling in the real estate or other corporate industries would be a preferred qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound calls, emails, and other outreach to mineral and royalty owners nationwide (prospect contact info already provided).
  • Qualify leads by gathering key information about ownership, motivation, and interest in selling.
  • Maintain and update prospect activity in the CRM to ensure accurate tracking and follow-up.
  • Build rapport quickly and professionally to encourage productive conversations and interest.
  • Support senior acquisition staff by sourcing leads and setting up qualified opportunities.
  • Assist with preparing basic follow-up communication and supporting documentation as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff of qualified prospects.
