About The Position

Vastian is a private equity backed, fast-growing SaaS business based in Lawrenceville, GA, outside Atlanta. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is an inside sales representative that focuses on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. The SDR will assist the Sales team by contacting and responding to incoming leads. The SDR will learn Vastian's processes to scope client needs, discover new business opportunities and provide the sales team with follow-up tasks. The SDR's primary role will be connecting with as many leads as possible and determining if they fit our client profile. A successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical, and can effectively interact with a team. This position has advancement potential within the Sales organization. Requirements

  • Experience working with CRM software.
  • 1-2 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success, ideally within the laboratory, life sciences, or healthcare sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to craft succinct, professional emails.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to develop deep product knowledge and continuously learn new features, applications, and solutions.
  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in tech sales.
  • Passionate about client satisfaction and dedicated to exceeding expectations.
  • A deep drive to compete and win with clients.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Previous medical laboratory or related experience (e.g., MLT, phlebotomy, or lab assistant) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • SDRs move leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Connect with potential customers and learn about their business and needs.
  • SDRs schedule next steps with Account Managers higher in the organization.
  • Next steps could be a: Demonstration Strategy call Fit assessment Consultation Technical call
  • Educate, answer questions, and send resources to potential customers.
  • Contact leads and determine who qualifies.
  • SDRs are evaluated on the number of qualified leads they move through the pipeline.
