About The Position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new sales opportunities to support the Account Executive team. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and strategic account targeting to build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to build a career in technology sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SaaS, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
  • Experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, social media, and other channels to generate new business opportunities
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads and schedule meetings for Account Executives
  • Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in CRM
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quota targets
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize messaging and outreach strategy
  • Develop a strong understanding of iboss solutions, the competitive landscape, and customer pain points
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
